Chevrolet is changing several models for 2016, this includes the: Camaro, Cruze, Malibu, Spark and Volt. Both the Silverado and Equinox have major updates to make them better than ever. There is a lot of excitement here at Cecil Clark Chevrolet each time we get in one of the newly redesigned models, such as this new 2016 Camaro SS we just got in today (to your left)!
Camaro Technology and Features
The all-new 2016 Camaro has even more available technology features than ever, and delivers an unprecedented level of refinement. The only things carried over from the fifth-generation are the bowtie emblem on the rear and the SS badge.
The 2016 Camaro offers more choices to a variety of drivers. Depending on your preferences, it can be efficient when equipped with our 2.0L Turbocharged 4-cyl or if you choose the SS model, it adopts a version of the Corvette LT1 v8 that packs a powerful punch at 455 horsepower. Either way, there is no sacrifice. The choices don’t stop there though, a new 3.6L v6 is also available with 335 horsepower, giving Camaro authoritative muscle in a well-balanced package.
All three engines are available in both a 6-speed manual or 8-speed paddle shift automatic. Premium race car quality Brembo brakes, standard on the SS (and available on the LT models), deliver straight stops in the most demanding situations.
The Driver mode selector offers Ice/Snow, Tour and Sport settings, with Track mode added on Camaro SS. Adjust up to 8 dynamic parameters to include: throttle response, power steering calibration, engine sound and Magnetic ride control. The Camaro SS model can also choose Active Rev Matching for smother downshifting.
